Ukraine is ramping up their counter-offensive in the south This time the main attack is coming in the direction we were expecting. Ukraine is going to sewer the russian land-bridge to Crimea. Ukraine has conducted counteroffensive operations with differential outcomes in at least three sectors...

Ukraine makes significant gains around Bakhmut There has been a lot of talk about Ukraine doing a counteroffensive in the south to cut off the russian land-bridge to crimea but so far we don't see any territorial changes towards that actually happening, we only see progress around bakhmut.

The PS5 SSD didn't live up to the hype Mark Cerny caused a lot of people to believe that the PS5 SSD would deliver amazing new gameplay, unfortunately we didn't exacly see that, instead we pretty much only saw games that could have ran just fine from an old HDD (which is why most games could...

Xbox series S 1TB is a joke Microsoft plans to charge 50% more for the 1TB version. https://www.ign.com/articles/the-new-1tb-black-xbox-series-s-is-up-for-preorder That's 50% more for 500 GB (466 GiB) of extra storage. Now let's see what you get for 50$ or less when you buy storage for PC/PS5...

Modern console exclusives are underwhelming There are many great games only released for a console but almost all these games can now be emulated. It's a bit ironic that the switch is easy to emulate while nintendo refuses to release their games on PC. PS5 cannot be emulated but luckily sony...

Why the xbox series X ram architecture is awful The series X has a 320 bit memory bus which is good but unfortunately microsoft had to screw up. In order to save money microsoft opted for having just 16GiB of gddr6 memory which is a very bad match for a 320 bit bus, their 'brilliant' (not)...

Why you shouldn't buy xbox series X microsoft initially promised "games will look and play better on xbox series X" and they only partly delivered that. A lot of games ended up running better on PS5. Potential causes include 0. PS5 having simpler ram architecture (while the XSX faces issues...

Real world performance figures When we look at the actual performance of the PS5 it tends to be between the 2060 super and the 3060ti, maybe around 3060 on average. Many PS5 fanboys wanted to believe that the PS5 had some "secret sauce" resulting in the PS5 "punching above its weight" but it...

xbox series X storage is very expensive and awful value At least with PS5 you can use basically any gen4 nvme drive but xbox owners don't have the same luxery, they end up having much more for storage that only offers around 30% of the performance (yes it's that bad). This is one of the...

You don't have to pay anything for games on PC On PC you can pirate games very easily so you don't have to put up with the awful epic games store launcher to enjoy free games. You also don't have to pay a monthly fee to sony/microsoft to use your own internet (PS+, xbox live). This further...

The PS5 digital edition is a much better option than xbox series S I have seen many awful youtubers promite the xbox series S for supposedely offering good value, it actually doesn't if you go by the MSRP and take a look at the alternative, PS5 digital edition. PS5 digital edition is sometimes...

PCs are useful for productivity, consoles aren't Especially nvidia GPUs are very useful for things other than just wasting your time with videogames, this makes the 4090 in particular a great value option. The 13900K and 7950x CPUs in particular are useful for productivity thanks to the strong...

The issue with PC gaming is the budget options are downright awful. If your budget is right you end up having to go with something like the r5 5600 CPU which while better than the PS5/XSX CPU is still not something you want to use for high refresh-rate gaming...

Computers and smart phones It's probably better if computers are all controlled by the government or specially selected citizens (such as C0 or higher), it's simply too dangerous to allow the masses control over those devices. There would be public computers available but only the accessories...

When you are over 183cm (6 feet) as a female your height alone will out you at least to some people. With HRT you can expect to lose 1 to 2 inch (2.54 to 5.08 cm) but that would still leave you too tall to pass. Most people cannot pass without FFS at 21. I find it hard to evaluate someones...

Ukraine resumes progress around bakhmut after the belgorod/Bilhorod incident Earliier after losing the bakhmut city ukraine allowed anti-putin russians to cross the border into belgorod to fight a civil war. These russians initially gained control over the area but they later had to largely...

ElAnalistaDeBits: ROG ally destroys the steam deck Their comparison showed the rog ally to utterly demolish the steam deck usually delivering higher FPS at 1080p than what steam deck delivers at 1280*800

Nvidia to rip people off with the 16GiB 4060ti The earlier leaks were basically right. Nvidia is launching the 8GiB 4060ti for 399$. I didn't see any rumor regarding the price of the 16GiB version but nvidia plans to sell it for 499$ which is a ripoff given that the extra 8GiB of memory should...

Ukraine resumes progress around bakmut, russia gain groun elsewhere No major changes recently (5 days) What Ukraine is doing makes a lot of sense, they are slowly pushing to encircle bakmut after wagner has wasted tends of thousends of men taking most if it, if they get encircled all those...
