This is why you cannot have demoracy, it results in people pursuing short-term comfort and fun ignoring future consequences.

Just look at europe. Neglecting the military for decades in order to spend more on welfare to buy votes.

We have this "forced positivity" in western societies where everyone is supposed to be optimistic and happy as society is falling apart, doesn't exactly help dealing with the bad societal situation we are in.

The welfare state and high taxes is of course terrible for less attractive males since it makes moneymaxxing a lot less effective.

The war will probably be limited to Ukraine or it will be nuclear.

If the war is limited to Ukraine there will be a lot more males than females dying.

If the war goes nuclear a lot of females will die too. Might be more males dying than females from that if it is just ukraine getting hit (males weren't allowed to leave) but if it goes WWIII a lot of females in cities will be killed and it's not clear that the actual difference in deaths for each sex will be that large.
